Lock Cylinders

The ICS Cylinder is manufactured in both a compact and a modular design. It boasts technical features which protect against different break-in techniques:

Burglary protection

  • Protection against drilling into and drilling open locks, pulling and snapping protection
Specially developed HSS (High Speed Steel) pins protect the plug against being drilled into or drilled open as well as against plug pulling. A special alloy silver steel pin in the cylinder body offers optimal protection against drilling.
  • Picking security
The pin rows on the side have dummy opening positions, which make it virtually impossible to scan the lock cylinder. The pin rows on the side are asymmetrically positioned with respect to the tracking pins, thus further increasing scanning protection.
  • Pick resistance
The use of split and non-split locking elements prevents the scanning positions from being identified. This ensures the lock cylinder cannot be opened using lock picking tools.

ICS lock cylinders conform to EN1303:2008, lock security class 6 and break-in resistance class 2. They are suitable as standard fittings for EI 90 and E 90 fire and smoke doors.

Function and advantages of the modular design

The module system enables you to adjust cylinder lengths yourself on site, or to assign a particular function to cylinders (e.g. lockable on both sides). As a result, you benefit from flexible solutions and reduce the time and expense required for installation.

  • Cylinder lengths can be set as required.
  • If it is unclear what cylinder length is needed, cylinders can be assembled at the required length on site.
  • EVVA/Aldridge partners can offer services from our complete range of products based on requirements and flexibly respond to all customer requests.
  • The clearly arranged EVVA assembly case ensures that everything is kept in order.
  • The range of products can be gradually extended according to requirements.
  • Variation parts are compatible with all systems.
  • Storage costs are minimised.
