Keys

ICS keys are designed as reversible keys. Inserting the key into the cylinder is particularly easy due to the key's tip, specially developed in-house. ICS also guarantees optimum key copying protection. The system has three different levels of protection that safeguard keys against copying or tampering:

• Managed protection
  EVVA or EVVA Partners only make keys for authorised individuals with corresponding proof of entitlement, such as a security card.
• Legal protection
  Commercial manufacturing of keys is carried out by EVVA and EVVA-authorised manufacturers only.
  EVVA also protects against unauthorised manufacturing of ICS keys by means of patented features on the key. Long-term ICS patent valid until 2028.
• Optimum technical protection
  Keys have technical features that require specialised machines and extensive expertise for their manufacture.
