Mechanical emergency lock for electronic locking systems

Mechanical locking systems are stable and robust. For this reason, emergency service organisations, such as the fire service, often require their use in buildings to provide a mechanical emergency locking system (overriding lock mechanism) for electronic systems.

Combining the ICS locking system with an electronic locking system

Mechanical locking systems are often used in combination with electronic access controls. This means that different types of door can be equipped with suitable security technology according to their own specific level of protection.

Electronic motor cylinder

Motor cylinders can be integrated into an ICS locking system. These lock cylinders can be locked and unlocked using an electrically driven motor thumb turn.

Combi Keys for both systems

ICS keys can also be supplied as Combi Keys, which serve as devices to carry identification technology, such as Mifare, Legic and iButton. A mechanical key is thus replaced by an electronic identification medium.

Integrating mechanics and electronics

Mechanical locking systems are the core element in building security. When combined with electronically controlled security technology, they give rise to versatile mechatronic security solutions - tailored to the exact needs of each individual project.
